Our class had the wonderful opportunity to raise Painted Lady butterflies. Our butterfly keepers took charge upon their arrival. We each had our own to observe and record their changes in our butterfly booklets. Each child noted changes from two perspectives. One as the butterfly and one as the observer.This will come in handy when we write our Ode to the Butterfly in a Two Voice Poem.
We also enjoyed learning about the Monarch on the Journey North-Monarch
