Bacteria

Our class had an opportunity to learn about bacteria from Cortny, Williams a parent volunteer and scientist. An order of surplus petri dishes became a place for us to test different types of bacteria and how they grow. Students tested a variety of materials from around the classroom as well as outside!
Cortny took the petri dishes back to her lab and returned a week later.  Students were excited to see the results and understood if the results were not what they expected. It was a great learning experience for all!
