Family Literacy Night One School One Book In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson

We had a great turn out for our Literacy Night. The students wrote poetry inspired by the book. Our culture dolls were a delight to view. Students were asked to think about the question- How is America like a salad? Their responses were thoughtful and showed insight on our diversity. This will also be a springboard for our next novel study titled, Doorway to Dreams.
