Students have completed their Fantasy Island project after our study of
geography and the 5 themes of geography. We went through a process of
creating a physical map which included our learning. Academic vocabulary
terms were included on the map. Finally, we wrote a description of our
island which included the five themes of geography: Place, Location,
Human Environment- Interaction, Movement and Regions. We met in small
groups to brainstorm, revise, edit and inspire!
We became cartographers of our own Fantasy Island.
