Week Before Winter Break

Our classroom had an eventful week! We had a special guest speaker from Financial Beginnings, Marian Griffiths who taught our class about savings, checking, credit and budgeting. We released our salmon, constructed dough models(thank you to Mrs. Thornton and her dough making skills)of salmon/fish anatomy and finished our Diary of a Salmon books and put them in our Seesaw digital portfolio. We enjoyed spending time with our buddy class and made special snowman cards scented with peppermint and a special concoction made with shaving cream and glue. Special thanks to Mrs. Aradine who helped with this project. We also enjoyed hot chocolate and read with our buddies. Mrs. Ganesh and Mrs. Kalomiris for preparing the cocoa. We also participated in Passport Club and had a wonderful sing a long on Friday morning. We donated our gift cards that we won in a contest to the Good Neighbor Center in Tigard. Mrs. Ganesh found out their needs and delivered the clothes. Of course there was dancing! Our classroom is kind and caring towards each other as well, so proud of them.
