Week One Happenings!

We have completed our first week in fabulous fashion! Students learned so many things such as; multiple intelligences, having a growth mindset verses a fixed mindset, working on poetry, narrative writing, personal timeline, self portrait for the cereal project, math assessments, review, Math and Me by the numbers, the water cycle and earth and space. We also had a dance lesson and did the Wobble for Move It Friday activity. As you can see, fifth grade is an active, engaging year.

I am looking forward to meeting you and presenting information that will be helpful for your child's success on Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. for session one and 7:10 for session two. We will be meeting in Mrs. Tanksley's room for a joint paperless presentation.

I am impressed by how hard they are working in class and learning to transition and use their time. These adorable faces show that we will BE an AMAZING  class.
