Lights...Camera ...Action!

Signal to Noise is a district wide moving images competition. Signal to Noise!  Our classroom began the process around the end of January.We understood that this was an extra and only possible if we continued to work on our academics. They earned this reward because of their behavior in and out of the classroom. Our experience with project based learning also made the transition to film making a breeze! The students sacrificed many recesses and even attended a filming session set after school hours to be part of the film.
Student groups came up with an idea, wrote a script, created a storyboard, cast roles, filmed, added music and titles, revised, revised, revised, and, finally, created their published video.

                   Special thanks to Jordan who diligently shot footage and edited almost all of the entries as well as submitted them for consideration. Thanks to Grant, Carter and Cooper for getting our animation and drama completed. Next Friday we will have our official viewing party and wrap. Now the most difficult part, to wait for the finalists to be  announced!
